Emergency Electrician Central Coast. Fast Response.
Power out? Something sparking? Safety switch won't stop tripping? Call us now. We'll get there fast and sort it.
When something goes wrong, you need it fixed now
Electrical emergencies don't wait for business hours. A tripping safety switch at 9pm means no lights, no fridge, and no hot water. A burning smell from the switchboard means you need someone there now, not tomorrow morning.
We respond to emergency calls across Central Coast. Based in Kariong, we can reach most suburbs within 20 minutes. When you call, you're talking to Edward directly. He'll figure out what's going on over the phone and tell you if you should switch off the main breaker. Then he'll head straight to you.
We carry the most common parts and materials on the van, so most emergency repairs can be completed in a single visit. If it's something bigger that needs a follow-up, we'll make the area safe and book the rest of the work for the earliest available time.
Storm damage is common on Central Coast, especially in summer. Fallen branches on power lines, water ingress in meter boxes, and surge damage to appliances. After 25 years based in Kariong, Edward has seen it all and works quickly to get your power back on safely.
Common emergencies we handle
While you're waiting for us
If there's a burning smell or sparking
Switch off the main breaker at your switchboard. Don't touch anything that looks damaged. If you're not sure where the main switch is, stay clear and wait for us.
If your safety switch keeps tripping
Unplug everything from the circuit that's tripping and try resetting. If it still trips, leave it off and call us. Something in the wiring itself needs attention.
If it's storm damage
Stay well away from any fallen power lines. Don't touch flood water near electrical equipment. Call us and if needed, call your energy distributor (Ausgrid on 13 13 88) for issues with the line coming into your property.
Common questions
How fast can you get here?
We're based in Kariong, so most Central Coast jobs are within 20 minutes. For genuine emergencies we drop what we're doing and head straight to you. If we're already on a job, we'll give you an honest timeframe on the phone.
What counts as an electrical emergency?
If there's a safety risk, it's an emergency. Power out to the whole house, burning smell from an outlet or switchboard, sparking, exposed wires, or water near electrical fittings all count. So does a safety switch that keeps tripping and won't reset. If you're not sure, give us a call and we'll tell you.
Is there a call-out fee?
There's a call-out fee for emergency and after-hours work, which covers travel and the first portion of labour. We'll tell you the fee upfront on the phone before we head out. No surprises.
