Meet Edward
Edward started Gunter Electrical in 2000. No big launch, no business plan written by someone in a suit. Just a qualified electrician with a van, a toolbox, and a simple idea: turn up when you say you will, do the job properly, and people will call you back.
Twenty-five years later, not much has changed. It's still a family business, still based in Kariong, and Edward still does the work himself. That's the whole point. When you call Gunter Electrical, you're not getting a call centre or a random subcontractor. You're getting the owner.
That means the person quoting the job is the person doing the job. There's no game of telephone, no miscommunication, and nobody saying "that's not what I was told." Edward knows what he quoted, what needs doing, and how long it'll take.
What makes us different
Same sparky every time
Big electrical companies send whoever's available. You explain the problem, they have a look, then send someone different to do the work. With us, Edward turns up, assesses it, and does it. If it's a bigger job, you'll meet the partner who works alongside him. Either way, you know who's in your house.
We live here
Kariong is home. We do our shopping at the local IGA, we know the neighbours, and our kids grew up here. When we say we're a Central Coast business, we mean it. We're not a Sydney company stretching north for work.
Honest pricing, always
The quote is the price. If we find something unexpected once we start, we'll stop and talk to you before any extra cost. We'd rather lose a bit of time explaining the situation than send you an invoice you weren't expecting.
